Edward Snowden, the man who leaked top-secret information about the National Security Agency’s widespread spying program, told the Guardian that he thinks “nothing good” will happen to him. “I do not expect to go home again,” Snowden said. He is currently hiding in Hong Kong, although he said “I think it’s really tragic that an American has to move to a place that has a reputation for less freedom.” Snowden is a former CIA employee who had been working for the independent contractor Booz Allen, assigned to a team in Hawaii, which he left abruptly after three months on May 1. Snowden said his plan for his future is “just to sit here and hope the Hong Kong government does not deport me.”
