Jose Garzon Amo, the Spanish train driver whose obsession with speed ended with the deaths of at least 78 people on Wednesday, is expected to be interviewed by a judge today after checking out of the hospital. Amo was allegedly driving twice the speed limit around a tight curve. The eight-carriage train was derailed and smashed into a wall. Although he has refused to answer questions, the Interior Minister said Amo had been taken to a police station after treatment for minor injuries and was held on suspicion of negligent homicide.
