Teresa Romero Ramos, the Spanish nursing assistant who contracted Ebola while caring for a patient, will be released Wednesday. Ramos spent 30 days in the hospital. “Everyone can be assured that there is no danger whatsoever of her being contagious,” Dr. Jose Ramon Arribas told a news conference in Madrid. Romero did not speak at the conference. She was the first person to be infected with Ebola outside West Africa in the current outbreak.
