Atlanta's Spelman College, long associated with the Cosby family, has officially cancelled a professorship established with the help of his family after recent details have emerged regarding his sordid past. Bill and his wife Camille donated $20 million to the college in the 1980s and two of their children attended. The big contribution helped fund new facilities on the historically black college campus as well as creating the professorship in question. It is unclear how much money was associated directly with the professorship but it has been returned to the Clara Elizabeth Jackson Carter Foundation, which was founded by Camille Cosby.
