A powerful storm that spawned several possible tornadoes left at least one person dead and 16 injured in the Southeast. Fifteen people were injured Wednesday morning when a tornado tore though the Pine Belt area of southeast Mississippi. As many as four were hospitalized with serious injuries, and as many as 35 buildings were damaged. In Georgia, one person was killed when a tree fell on a car. Tornadoes were also reported in Louisiana and Alabama. More rough weather is expected in the region.
