Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh claimed the reason he stepped on Green Bay Packers' quarterback Aaron Rogers last Sunday is because his feet were so cold. An NFL insider told ESPN that Suh claims his feet were numb so he couldn't tell the difference between the ground and Rodgers's back. Suh used this explanation during an attempt to appeal the one-game suspension issued against him. His suspension was overturned, but he was fined $70,000 instead. More importantly for the Lions, though, he will be allowed to play in next week's playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys.
