The lawyer representing Robert Durst says his client is “suicidal” and has been moved to a New Orleans facility that treats the mentally ill while he awaits extradition to California. “If he gets cleared, he’ll come back,” said Black Arcuri, adding, “he is not getting treated differently than any other inmate. This is not a media circus.” Durst was charged with first-degree murder in the death of a friend in 2000 and will stand trial in California.
