Peter Madsen, the Danish inventor accused of killing Swedish journalist Kim Wall, is said to have had videos of women being decapitated alive on his computer’s hard drive. Senior prosecutor Jakob Buch-Jepsen said Tuesday that investigators “presume” the uncovered footage of women being burned, tortured, and decapitated is real. He said suspicions that Madsen is behind Wall’s murder have been “strengthened” since the suspect’s first court appearance in September. Wall’s headless torso was found in the sea off Copenhagen in mid-August after she’d gone to meet with Madsen on his submarine several days earlier. Madsen has claimed Wall’s death was an accident, but prosecutors say an autopsy of Wall’s body revealed knife wounds to her genitals and rib cage. Madsen claimed Tuesday that the hard drive containing decapitation videos did not belong to him.
