Syrian militant group Nusra Front has agreed to let free 45 United Nations peacekeepers without any conditions. The insurgents have been holding the Fijian peacekeepers hostage for nearly two weeks, and had previously requested that, in return for the soldiers, they be taken off the UN terror list, get humanitarian aid sent to Damascus, and be compensated for three killed fighters. Fiji's military chief said it was due to relations the country made while peacekeeping that the hostages will be released.
