The Kennedys, the contentious eight-part miniseries starring Greg Kinnear and Katie Holmes that was pulled by the History Channel, has been bought by ReelzChannel for an unknown amount, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter. After one of Kennedy’s former advisers called the script "vindictive," the History Channel dropped the $30 million production and announced the "dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand." ReelzChannel, however, hopes the buzz surrounding the project will attract new viewers to their network.
