Love this bit in the Telegraph today, potted biographies of the Queen's Royal contemporaries, i.e. other Kings and Queens of approximately the same age around the world.
My personal favourite is King Mswati III of Swaziland, who has ruled since 25 April 1976, has a personal fortune of around £60 million, and 13 wives. He attended the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton last year. but had to arrive through the back entrance of Westminster Abbey in order to avoid protesters enraged at his 50-strong entourage.
