Hell may be torture, but the variety depends on the sinner’s sex: According to the Vatican, Satan is more likely to break women on a wheel and pelt men's souls with fire and brimstone. This is because men and women commit different sins according to a Vatican-approved study. Women are more likely to commit pride, envy and anger, and men more likely to commit lust and gluttony. Roberto Busa, 96, a Jesuit priest famous for a computerized study of St. Thomas Aquinas, carried out an analysis of confessional data that suggested the gender difference. The Vatican's house theologian said his own observations confirmed the survey results. Last year the Vatican added seven new deadly sins in addition to the old-school ones, which are pride, anger, sloth, envy, gluttony, greed and lust. The new sins include genetic modification, human experimentation, polluting the environment, social injustice, causing poverty, financial greed, and taking or selling drugs
