Thousands of migrants, mostly from Syria, finally reached the Austrian border on Saturday. After a week of hosting the asylum-seekers in squalid conditions, Hungarian officials provided buses to transport the rain-soaked migrants to the border, where Red Cross workers waited. The migrants can now either go to Vienna or take trains and buses to Germany, which expects to take in up to 800,000 this year.
