On Sunday, an unidentified man opened fire, killing two men and critically wounding four in a residential neighborhood in Louisa County, Virginia, about 60 miles west of Richmond. Major Donnie Lowe, of the local sheriff’s office, said the gunman was a white male who began shooting because of a civil estate dispute. When the police arrived, the man started shooting at them, too, and unleashed his pit bull. Officers fired back, killing both the man and the dog. Police have yet to release the names of the dead or wounded.
