Three people were killed on Sunday when a fire ravaged a camp for Syrian refugees in Lebanon. The camp, located an hour east of Beirut, was destroyed by the fire, which a spokeswoman said was likely caused by a cooking stove. “We've started the assessment as to how many tents have been damaged. As soon as the assessment is done we will provide the families with all the help they need,” UNHCR spokeswoman Dana Sleiman said. Around 1.5 million Syrians are currently living in Lebanon, and millions more have fled the country due to the civil war there and ISIS’s foothold on many parts of the country.
