An explosion and fire at an oil refinery in Anacortes, Washington has left three workers dead and four injured, MSNBC reports. The blast early Friday morning was strong enough to rattle houses as many as five miles away, according to witnesses, who also reported seeing flames and black smoke and hearing a noise like a jet flying overhead. According to Tesoro Refinery human resources manager John McDarment, the blaze started in the refinery's naptha unit, although it's unclear what set it off.
