Baghdad was rocked this morning by suicide bombers responsible for three blasts that left at least 42 dead and over 200 people injured. The explosions were located near the Egyptian embassy and a residential complex near the Syrian and Albanian embassies in the capital. The third car bomb was near the Iranian embassy, and all three were detonated within five minutes of each other. Authorities have also said they prevented two other attacks planned for diplomatic targets. These are the first suicide bombings since January, when 36 people were killed and 71 were injured.
