Ted Forstmann, who is the subject of a lawsuit by Agate Printing Inc., has claimed the lawsuit is part of an extortion scheme and is demanding an investigation into the matter from the Los Angeles Police Department. Forstmann is the owner of sports management company IMG, and he also manages Tiger Woods. In the lawsuit, Agate Printing is alleged to have aided and acted as a go-between for Forstmann's bets. Part of the lawsuit claims that Forstmann once bet against Woods, as well as quadrupled a bet on Roger Federer after the tennis player allegedly gave him inside information. Agate Printing has accused Forstmann of leaving the company with tax liabilities over gambling losses. A source told TMZ that Forstmann's lawyers will bring forth evidence that he's being extorted by the printing company.
