Blue Bloods star Tom Selleck reportedly reached a settlement with Ventura County on Thursday over allegations that he illegally transported water from public hydrants across district boundaries to his ranch in the midst of California’s historic drought. The Calleguas Municipal Water District filed a complaint this week accusing Selleck and his wife, Jillie, of repeatedly loading trucks with public fire-hydrant water in a different district and delivering it to their 60-acre property. The settlement between Calleguas and Selleck’s lawyers will go before the water district board for approval at a meeting next Wednesday, said Calleguas resources manager Eric Bergh. The details of the deal will remain confidential until finalized.
