Authorities are investigating the deaths of two Canadian sisters whose bodies were found in their hotel room in Thailand on Friday, but police said there was no sign of a struggle. Noemi Belanger, 26, and Audrey Belanger, 20, were vacationing at a resort on Koh Phi Phi Island off of Krabi province. They had reportedly gone out on Thursday night and returned late, but did not emerge from their room on Friday morning. Large amounts of vomit were found in their room and both women had bleeding gums, bleeding under the skin, and blackened nails, but they had otherwise experienced no physical injuries. The cause of death is not yet known, but health officials who examined the bodies said that the bleeding could have been caused by a disease and were not necessarily the result of poisoning.
