Donald Trump further expounded upon his position on banning certain people from entering the United States over fears of terror attacks, saying in his Republican National Convention speech that people from terrorism-ridden countries should not be allowed in. “We must immediately suspend immigration from any nation that has been compromised by terrorism until such time as proven vetting mechanisms have been put in place,” he said. “We don’t want them in our country.” Trump said last year that all Muslims should be banned from entering the U.S. “until we can figure out what the hell is going on.”
