President Trump will enact stricter measures against Cuba, rolling back some of the relaxed policies favored by the Obama administration, the Miami Herald reported Thursday. While American tourists will still be allowed to visit Cuba under Trump policy, visitors will be subject to a Treasury Department audit upon their return to the United States. Educational groups will be required to travel with a guide from a sponsoring organization within the U.S. The new policies will reportedly prohibit U.S. companies from making transactions with Grupo de Administración Empresarial, S.A, a state-run Cuban business conglomerate. The ban would be difficult for U.S. businesses to navigate, as the GAESA is estimated to controls approximately 60 percent of Cuba's economy.
