Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump says he has no plans to release his tax returns before the general election. He said Tuesday: “There’s nothing to learn from them.” For months, the reality-TV personality has told the public that he’s undergoing an audit and cannot release the documents; he’s also said he doesn’t think voters are even interested in the documents. In an interview with the Associated Press, Trump also said for the first time that he won’t take public funds for his campaign. “I don’t like the idea of taking taxpayer money to run a campaign,” he said. “I think it’s inappropriate.”
