Tamerlan Tsarnaev, a suspect in the Boston marathon bombing, also played a role in a triple homicide murder in 2011, according to a federal law enforcement official who talked to CNN. Ibragim Todashev, a Chechen who was shot by an FBI agent on Wednesday after a confrontation with officials during an interview, was "about to sign a statement" admitting to his and Tsarnaev's role in the crime, according to ABC News. The homicide took place in 2011 in Waltham, Massachusetts, when three people's throats were slashed. Todashev reportedly told agents that a drug deal went bad and he and Tsarnaev wanted to ensure that the victims would not be able to identify them to police. Todashev has not been linked to the Boston marathon bombings.
