The network’s coverage of the regional semi-finals earned an average overnight household rating/share of 6.8/12, up 13% compared to last year’s sweet 16. Overall, average household ratings for the tournament are up 8% from last year—a good sign that viewers are just as receptive to quality basketball as they are to the allure of surprise.
