Twitter's 140-character limit is not going away, the social media company's CEO assured users Friday morning. Appearing on the Today Show, Jack Dorsey said of the site's trademark feature: "It's staying. It's a good constraint for us and it allows for of-the-moment brevity." Earlier this year the company announced that it was considering a new 10,000-character tweet feature, which was met with concerns from long-time users. Twitter has yet to elaborate on whether that new feature will be added or has been scrapped altogether.
