Two Boy Scouts were killed and a third injured in Texas when their sailboat hit an overhead power line, authorities said Sunday. The victims, aged 18 and 16, died at the scene Saturday afternoon at Lake O’ the Pines, about 150 miles from Dallas. An 11-year-old Boy Scout was injured and taken to a Louisiana hospital, where he was reportedly listed in critical condition Sunday. The preliminary investigation suggests the boys were electrocuted after their boat hit an overhead transmission line, and the boat was reportedly on fire when authorities arrived. The boys were all members of Boy Scout Troop 620 from Hallsville.
