St. Louis County police officer Dan Page, a 35-year-veteran of the force, has been suspended after a YouTube video of him making incendiary remarks surfaced. In the YouTube video, which was shot around two years ago, Page describes himself as “an indiscriminate killer, that it didn’t matter what your race or background was.” Page goes on to defame President Obama, the U.S. Supreme Court, Muslims and various sexual orientations. “Had he been a probationary officer doing the same thing, I would have fired him two hours ago,” St. Louis County police chief Jon Belmar said. Meanwhile, Glendale officer Matthew Pappert was suspended after posting on social media that Ferguson protesters should have been “put down like rabid dogs the first night.”
