Another disturbing report from the world’s most homophobic place: An activist tells the BBC that several gay men have been attacked in Uganda after a local newspaper outed them by publishing their names and photos. The newspaper, called Rolling Stone, published 15 photos next to a headline reading “Hang Them”; it says that it has 85 more photos and names to publish. The editor of the paper said he wants authorities to investigate people “recruiting children to homosexuality.” Uganda was in the headlines last year for a proposed anti-homosexuality law that included the death penalty as punishment.
