The protesters continue to march in Syria, and government forces continue to kill them. The United Nations says the death toll for the past seven months of protests against President Bashar al-Assad has now reached 3,000, including at least 187 children. Rights activists say 19 more people died Friday—10 when government troops attacked a northern town, and nine when armed men attacked a group of soldiers.
