After 32 months of civil conflict, 1.1 million Syrian children have been left refugees, and nearly half are now estimated to support their families as primary income-earners. A United Nations report called "The Future of Syria—Refugee Children in Crisis," released Friday, found 70,000 refugee families live without fathers, while 3,700 children refugees are without either parent. Many of those children—nearly 30 percent—only leave their makeshift housing once a week or less. The report also shows more Syrian children refugees are not going to school than those who are.
