The closed trial for a Washington Post journalist who has been detained in Iran for more than 10 months began in a Revolutionary Court in Tehran on Tuesday, according to the country's official IRNA news agency. Jason Rezaian has been accused of passing information to "hostile governments" and faces charges of espionage and propaganda. The American-Iranian and his wife Yeganeh Saleh, along with two photojournalists, were detained on July 22 in Tehran. All were released except Rezaian, a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen, who faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
