Three U.S. college students who were arrested by Egyptian police on suspicion of throwing Molotov cocktails during protests in Cairo have been ordered on Thursday to be released. A court handed the release order to the police but the students remain in custody. Derrik Sweeney, Luke Gates and Gregory Porter, who go to the American University in Cairo, were arrested on the roof of a university building near Tahrir Square on Sunday. Their family gave thanks to the news of them about to go free.
