Mahmoud Ahmadinejad forgot his manners, once again: During his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, the ever-charming Iranian president accused the United States of orchestrating the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in an attempt to “reverse the declining American economy,” and “save the Zionist regime." Representatives from the U.S., the European Union, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Costa Rica subsequently got up and walked out of the auditorium. The U.S. Mission to the U.N. released a statement that read, in part, "Rather than representing the aspirations and goodwill of the Iranian people, Mr. Ahmadinejad has yet again chosen to spout vile conspiracy theories and anti-Semitic slurs that are as abhorrent and delusional as they are predictable."
