The Department of Homeland Security will not expand its ban on laptops in the cabins of U.S.-bound flights, officials said Wednesday. DHS said "enhanced" measures at airports will screen laptops and tablets for explosives. The Daily Beast was the first to report in May that U.S. officials told their European officials a laptop ban was imminent. The proposal was delayed and finally shelved.
