The manager at a Veterans Affairs medical center in Indianapolis appears to have made fun of suicide attempts in emails to her employees. Robin Paul, a licensed social worker, sent photos of a Christmas elf appearing as a veteran, begging for Xanax and “caught in the act of suicidal behavior (hanging himself from an electrical cord),” as one photo is captioned.
