A Verizon attorney hit two union workers with his Porsche outside an anti-Verizon demonstration in Gaithersburg, Maryland on Friday, the union says. Two members of labor union Communication Workers of America were prostesting as part of a strike for better wages and job security at Verizon, when the company attorney allegedly clipped them with his car. One of the workers was transported to a hospital, while the other did not sustain serious injuries, the union claims.
