Mid-game last night, the Miami Marlins got a little surprise. Right fielder Giancarlo Stanton discovered a cat huddled under the wall lining the field. Why was the cat there? Who knows? Who cares?
The poor kitty looks like he’s doing an army crawl along the edges of centerfield, trying to be anywhere but there, when Stanton and the umpire walk up. Startled, the cat bolts across the field, and the commentators are heard saying, “Now the cat is going to have to take a lap. There’s no way out over there, right?”
Does the cat take a lap? Nope. It scales the scoreboard. See for yourself.
