After a committee meeting devolved into violent chaos, members of a Turkish parliamentary committee approved a measure by the ruling party that would strip legislators of their immunity from prosecution. Pro-Kurdish party members, several of whom could face terror-related charges under these new rules, violently opposed the constitutional amendment, and stormed out after the melee.
