Several days after Donald Trump suggested the 1993 death of Vince Foster is "very fishy" and that conspiracy theories about possible foul play are "very serious," the late Bill Clinton White House aide's sister has responded with a stern condemnation of the GOP nominee. "It is beyond contempt that a politician would use a family tragedy to further his candidacy, but such is the character of Donald Trump," Sheila Foster Anthony wrote in a Thursday op-ed for The Washington Post. "[Trump] cynically, crassly and recklessly insinuated that my brother, Vincent W. Foster Jr., may have been murdered because 'he had intimate knowledge of what was going on' and that Hillary Clinton may have somehow played a role in Vince’s death," she continued. "How wrong. How irresponsible. How cruel." Anthony railed against the countless theories surrounding Foster's death and reiterated the findings of independent investigations into his death, along with her own experience in watching him descend into severe depression before he took his own life.
