Verizon Communications and Vodafone are breaking up. The British telecommunications behemoth is getting ready to part ways with its major stake in Verizon Wireless, the U.S.'s biggest wireless provider. Analysts predict that relinquishing its 45 percent of Verizon could yield up to $125 billion for Vodafone. If it goes through, it will be of the world's biggest business deals in a decade, since Vodafone took over German cellphone company Mannesmann for $181 billion in 2000.
