The father of Kevin Ward Jr. is holding Tony Stewart accountable for his son’s death on Saturday at an Empire Super Sprint race. Ward was killed after he got out of his car when Stewart pushed his car up the track wall. Although there were caution flags and other drivers slowed, Stewart hit Ward. Now, his father, Kevin Ward Sr., is speaking out, saying “”Apparently, Tony Stewart was the only one driving out there who didn't see him." Ward Sr. said he had never seen his son get of his car during a race prior to Saturday. "I think the reason he probably got out of that car is who put him into the wall. He was definitely put into the wall," he said. He also questioned Stewart's driving behavior and intent. "Tony Stewart was the best damn driver by far on the track that night. Why he had to go up as high as he did and hog my son, there's no reason for it." Police are still investigating the accident.
