The Golden State Warriors completed an historic comeback Monday evening by defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder, 96-88, rebounding from a 3-1 series deficit to advance to the NBA Finals. League MVP Stephen Curry proved unstoppable, sinking six three-pointers and netting 30 points overall. With their resurgence, the 2015-16 Warriors became the 10th team in NBA history to bounce back from a 3-1 hole, and the first to do so in a conference finals since the 1980-81 Boston Celtics. The defending champion Warriors will take on the Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers for a rematch of the 2015 NBA Finals, beginning Thursday evening.
