The Golden State Warriors on Sunday tied the record for the best start in NBA history, defeating the Denver Nuggets 118-105 to go 15-0. The Warriors match the start of the 1948-49 Washington Capitals and the 1993-94 Houston Rockets, and could break the record Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers at home. The undefeated team also broke the 1957-58 Boston Celtics’ mark for the best start by a defending champion. Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 21 points while Stephen Curry added 19 points.
