Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner knew he was going to take some shots when it came time to pay a visit to Capitol Hill Wednesday, but did he know it was going to be this bad? Geithner was there to answer questions about his role at the New York Fed and his alleged effort to hide details about the $180 billion bailout of insurance giant AIG. "You are either incompetent on the job, or you were not doing your job and knew what was taking place and tried to conceal it," said Republican Rep. John Mica. Members of Geithner's own party were no more forgiving. "It just stinks to the high heaven, what happened here," said Democratic Rep. Stephen Lynch. "I don't like the obfuscation... It makes me doubt your commitment to the American people."
