At least two construction workers were injured and several others are missing after three stories of a parking garage in Washington, D.C.’s Watergate complex collapsed Friday morning. Because the D.C. Fire & EMS Department’s sole search dog has been deployed to assist in rescue efforts in Nepal, the department is forced to borrow search dogs from nearby Montgomery County. The cause of the collapse is unknown in the complex that broke ground in 1962.
