For six months after they put his body in an upstairs bedroom, the family of Peter Wald prayed that he would rise from the dead. On Monday, his wife, Kaling Wald, pled guilty to a charge of failing to notify police or a coroner of her husband's death. Canadian authorities believe Peter died in March last year after an infection in his left foot went untreated, and his family left his body in the house, believing he could be revived by prayer. Criminal charges were initially filed in the case, but all parties agreed that there was ill intent and his wife's Christian faith had "tainted and warped her better judgment."
