WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange walked free on Thursday, after an appeal against his bail was struck down following nearly 10 days in jail. "It's great to smell the fresh air of London again," he said outside of the court. Now that $316,000 has been raised for his bail, Assange will stay in the Suffolk manor of Vaughan Smith, who owns London’s Frontline Club. He may have to wear an electronic monitoring device and report daily to the police. “I can’t wait to see my son and to hold him close,” said Assange’s mother.
