WikiLeaks, the controversial whistle-blowing website that published thousands of U.S. documents relating to the war in Afghanistan, posted on Twitter Tuesday that the site would release a “CIA paper” on Wednesday. What exactly the “CIA paper” is remained unclear, and whether it is part of the 15,000 documents WikiLeaks says it has and plans to publish in the future in the “Afghan War Diary.” The website has set off an international debate after it published 76,000 secret U.S. documents relating to the Afghan war. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was arrested in absentia on Saturday in Sweden on charges of rape, but the rape charges were dropped less than a day later. Assange claimed he was warned by Australian intelligence officials of “dirty tricks” after exposing the Afghan war documents.
