Wikipedia is finally in book form, but it’s not an encyclopedia. It’s The Wikipedia Revolution, by Andrew Lih, a journalist-cum-Wikipedia editor. Lih chronicles the story of the mega-site from its vast benefits to numerous pitfalls. A devotee of Ayn Rand, Lih says that he places the utmost importance on facts, which can be seen on the citations for articles. “The type of conversations you have on Wikipedia are the kinds you'd see in newspaper newsrooms or at an academic faculty meeting,” Lih told Salon. “What are the criteria for making sure something is verifiable?”
